TORK is a contemporary dance company established by Tan Temel and Sernaz Demirel at Istanbul in April 2011.
Self-produces and stages independent dance performances.
Collaborates with independent artists engaged in music, theatre and contemporary arts.

Deals with what is occurring Here and Now.
Seeks after what’s new, powerful and contemporary in dance.
It’s primary reference is body and uses the body in its simplest form in the works it produces.
By starting off the question “I am searching for the impulse prompting me to make this move?”, TORK performs movement researches over risk-bearing dynamics that are unpredictable and intuitive.
