He started first modern dance training with Geyvan McMillen in 1995 and 1996 he was accepted to Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory Modern Dance Department (MSÜ). After having graduated from MSÜ State Conservatory Modern Dance Department, he became an instructor at Yıldız Technical University Modern Dance Program in 2000. In 2001, by receiving a grant from the New York Merce Cunningham Dance School, he found the opportunity to practice the Cunningham technique. In 2003, he joined CRR Dance Theater Company. In 2003, he was invited as a guest artist to dance with the Matthew Hawkins Dance Company in London. In 2005, CRR Dance Theater Company name changed as Istanbul Dance Theater (IDT+) and he continued to dance, and teach in many domestic and international festivals with IDT+ . In 2007, he got “International Choreographer Award” from International Dance Chicago Festival. He has finished his MA at Yildiz Technical University Art and Design Faculty in 2006, and he completed his MFA at Case Western Reserve.

In 2005, the company name changed as Istanbul Dance Theater (IDT+). Together with IDT+, she has participated in many national and international festivals and continues to dance with the company. She took her MA from the YTU Art and Design Faculty Department in 2006, and she completed her MFA at Case Western Reserve University Theater and Dance Department in 2009. In 2011 she started her own company TORK together with Tan Temel. Currently, she continue to create her own works and teaches in national and international art platforms and universities as well as keeping her position as research assistant in Yildiz Technical University Modern Dance Program.
