Body – The Present Flowing Into The Past
“Dance unites time and space”
In this project, we define the body, as a space under continuous transformation which contains within it self all time related concepts known as the past, the present and the future.
Within the design perspective of this performance, instead of constituting a focus apart from the works presented in the space, by becoming integrated with the architectural past - memory of all the objects and the space, bodies intend to ‘exist’ along as new extensions.
The body acts as an intermediary to convey the present into the past. The body memory of the past, creates the present. The future is inspired by the present, yet is still uncertain…
